天氣開始轉熱,我們先來了幾杯近期人氣大熱的氮氣茶,選擇也多:葡萄柚+柚子、葡萄柚+荔枝、接骨木花、蜜桃,我選了接骨木花,淡淡的香氣,加上清新的綠茶味道,解渴又舒服。

北京醬蹄凍
先來幾碟冷盤,全部都「靚到嘩嘩聲」。這碟「北京醬蹄凍」就像一個小小的荷花池,醬蹄凍做得十分入味,吃一口,立即在嘴內溶化;底下黃綠色的「荷塘」是啫喱,晶瑩剔透,西式甜啫喱與中式鹹啫喱互相輝映,完全沒違和感。

麻醬雞絲撈起
雖然新正頭已過,但意頭美食從來不嫌多。這味本來只是雞絲粉皮,多加了一些色彩繽紛的菜絲,換個擺盤,感覺截然不同,吃前淋上麻醬,大家就興高彩烈的撈呀撈的,經理也順勢說些意頭好說話,簡單的一道菜,各位都吃得開心!

這味菜是40年前首家北京樓的經典菜式,現在一個華麗轉身,又再活現大家眼前。大蝦、帶子、螺片等,以魚香醬炒香,香辣惹味,海鮮爽口甜美。

來到北京樓沒理由不吃填鴨,填鴨烤得很好,上桌時還是脹卜卜的,經理將烤鴨切出約44片,加點京蔥、烤鴨醬同吃,十分滋味。

富貴雞的造型唯妙唯肖,外層是麵包,整隻大肥雞活靈活現,後面還有三隻「雞蛋」,太可愛了!

經理先在上面點火,將麵包香進一步迫出,之後他再層層解構,裡面先是一層錫紙,再用荷葉將整隻雞包裹。

荸薺餅
另一道美如仙境的美食,是這一道荸薺餅,底下以珊瑚來擺盤,加上煙霧效果,太美了!荸薺餅的味道像小煎堆,芝蔴外殻香脆煙靭,加上蜜糖與荸薺的清新甜味,我吃完一粒又一粒,老實不客氣地包底了!
