一向都喜歡到黃金海岸酒店吃buffet,因為食物種類選擇超多之餘,更有池畔BBQ,這是其他酒店沒法比擬的,最喜歡他們的烤琵琶鴨,皮脆肉嫰又夠鹹香,我的朋友都輪流去排肥美嫰滑的鴨脾,真過分!最新還推出了燒香蕉,淋上椰漿後夠甜美。
餐廳最近完成了裝修,光猛明亮,再加上兩位成人送一位小童的優惠,是時候重投池畔BBQ的懷抱了!

Cafe Lagoon剛裝修好,令我眼前一亮,新的藍橙色皮椅,感覺清新和年輕多了,餐廳中間多了一個中央廚房,廚師們繁忙地在準備晚餐。

第一時間探望我的「老相好」BBQ區,重中之重是琵琶鴨,朋友努力的排燒鴨脾,我則沒所謂,吃骨也喜歡,因為覺得近骨位特別鹹香;就算放了一陣子,鴨皮還是那麼香脆,一口咬下去,「咔嚓」一聲裂開,炭火燒果然零舍不同。

也試試新推出的燒香蕉,師傅將香蕉皮略為燒焦後,切成小塊,淋上椰漿,軟熟香甜,很有點泰國風味,不知道遲些可否推出烤榴槤呢,超期待的!

五味子鴨湯麵
另一個驚喜位是泰式湯粉,餐廳行政總廚Tom Samranjit來自泰國,湯粉自然味道正宗。鴨湯味道十分濃郁,每一口都是鮮味,單喝湯都很滿足;鴨腸很爽口,雞肝大大塊,都很推介;怡保芽菜粗壯爽口,現在想起都在流口水!

我這位廢中向來不吃朱古力噴泉,但看見右邊的牛油米通狀甚美味,忍不住就來了一支。噴泉有白朱和黑朱,我點了後者,嘩,那米通真的很好吃,軟軟的又黏糯,如不是要留位吃其他,一定去encore。
