走在西營盤街頭,發現有一間紅磚牆餐廳,其前身為Trattoria del Pescatore,近月以Chris’ Common Room之名重新登場,同樣吃意大利菜,但價錢更親民,菜式也更多元化。除以往主打的海鮮意大利粉之外,還加入更多前菜、湯品和肉食選擇,現時午餐正在做買二送一優惠,花費不多就可以吃到高質意大利菜。

從西營盤地鐵站走到Chris’ Common Room,大約要十分鐘,兩條直路,算是好找。紅色磚牆配以偌大的玻璃窗,很有點歐洲風,窗明几淨,感覺開揚。

我們今天不是吃午餐,而是點了a la carte。先來了麵包,外脆內軟,本身印象已很好,想不到驚喜位是黑醋,杰身得有如蠔油,味道醇和甜美,十分優質,再加一些特級初榨橄欖油,朋友忍不住吃完一件又一件。

我就留肚吃其他東西啦。本身不太吃他他,但看見這個「紅蝦牛油果他他」就忍不住試試,因為是來自西西里的紅蝦啊,蝦肉特別鮮甜,加上我最愛的牛油果,以檸檬橄欖油來調味,感覺清新又開胃!

喜歡喝海鮮湯,但通常邊飲邊充滿罪惡感,因為我膽固醇超標呀!這個湯就讓我飲得安心,除了大蜆、魷魚、虎蝦和魚肉之外,還加入了及大量蔬菜去熬製,滿滿的蔬菜味道,飲得舒服。

今天眾多菜式之中,最喜歡就是這一味了,採用了澳洲和牛臉頰去慢煮,肉質嫩滑,入口即融,每一口牛肉都是骨膠原,超美味!

喜歡吃紅蝦的朋友,除了剛才介紹的他他,還不得不試這個紅蝦意粉,是餐廳的招牌菜之一。面頭有兩隻大紅蝦,意粉內亦藏有粒粒蝦肉,鮮甜無比;意粉的醬汁用紅蝦來調製,味道濃郁。

最後當然要試甜品,兩者中我較喜歡烤蘋果酥餅,新鮮出爐,鬆脆得一咬亦散,配以我最愛的岩鹽焦糖雪糕,無得輸!Floating Island是蛋白泡泡,加上雲呢拿和焦糖汁,邪惡但美味。
